Walton: Craft fair success

An early Christmas craft fair pulled in those looking for that special gift.

Hundreds turned out for the event at the Martello Caravan Park in Walton on Sunday. Organiser Gwen Horlock was delighted with how it went.

"We had plenty of people through in the morning but it was a little slower in the afternoon when the weather turned against us," she said.

"However, I think everyone did quite well and they all enjoyed it."

It is the ninth year Mrs Horlock has organised her charity fundraiser. The RNLI and St Helena Hopice are among those who have benefited over the years.

Sunday's event raised more than £200 for the North East Essex Stoma Support Group.
