Dockers seek revenge

From the archive, first published Friday 24th Mar 2006.

Tilbury are likely to be at full strength for the Essex Senior League visit of Southend Manor on Saturday, who have beaten them four times this season.

Revenge is vital if Dockers are to maintain their late promotion push that was boosted by Tuesday's 5-0 humbling of Basildon when Paul Cobb scored a hat-trick. Mike Shelley also netted twice and manager Tony Cross has another option should either miss-fire, with striker Hugh Ashman coming on to make his debut late in the midweek encounter.

Saturday's match kicks -off at 12.30pm to give local supporters the chance to take in a double fixture, moving on to Grays' Trophy clash at the conclusion.
