HEALTHY bodies and healthy minds have notched up another success for Basildon's Whitmore Junior School.

Representatives from the school dropped into Chelmsford's Shire Hall to receive the Healthy Schools certificate from the Essex and Southend Schools Partnership.

"The certificate recognises the improvements that have been made in the school towards healthy living," said administration officer Sandra Jagger.

"The school has also opened a fruit tuck shop which encourages the children to eat fresh fruit each day rather than crisps and sweets."
