BEAUMONT

St Leonard's Church: Sunday 6pm holy communion (CW), the Rev Edward Giles.

BRIGHTLINGSEA

Baptist Church: As from Sunday, the Baptist Church will be meeting every Sunday for worship at 10.15am in the YMCA hall, High Street, Brightlingsea. All are welcome.

St Sabina's RC Church: Vigil mass, 6pm Saturdays. Weekday masses 9am Monday and Thursday. Sunday masses 10am St Monica's, Wivenhoe and 12.15pm University Chaplaincy, Essex University.

Spiritualist Movement: Evening of clairvoyance every Tuesday, 7.30pm, at the community centre.

CLACTON

St James' Church, Tower Road (opposite Clacton police station): Sunday 8am communion; sung mass 10am; evening prayer 4pm winter time and 6pm summer time. Wednesday 10.30am. FRINTON

Sacred Heart and St Francis Catholic Church: First mass Saturday 6pm and Sunday 8.30am.

Methodist Church: A warm welcome to all to join in worship on Sunday at 11am led by Les Stevens.

Parish Church: On Sunday the services start at 8am with holy communion (BCP) followed at 9.30am by our contemporary family service and then at 11am we have a traditional service of morning prayer (BCP). There are crèche facilities available and at 10.30am we serve light refreshments. At 6.30pm there is holy communion (CW) in the Old Parish Church and offer it again in that church on Wednesday at 11am. Free Church: Here at the Free, there is usually four services on a Sunday, each with their own distinctive quality. At 9am there is the original service, with hymns, choruses, the organ and choir/solo singers. At 11am there is the lifebuilder service, a more contemporary form of worship with a band. Coffee will be served after the evening service in Oasis. WALTON

Coastlands Community Church: We meet every Sunday at 9.30am and 11am. For details of venues, call the church office on 01255 677223. On the first Sunday of each month we join with our Frinton/Kirby congregation for a combined celebration at Tendring Technology College, Frinton. This begins at 10.30am. You are also welcome to visit our gift shop and drop-in at 34 Newgate Street. We are open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 10am-3pm and Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-1pm.

Homelands Free Church, Garden Road: We give a very warm welcome to our Sunday services. We meet at 11am and 6.30pm. We hold a prayer meeting each Sunday at 6pm. All Saints' Parish Church: Today 9.30am prayer time. Friday 9.45am morning prayer. Saturday 10am morning prayer; noon-2pm Lent lunch in Martello Hall. Emmanuel Church: The service this Sunday at 10.30am will be conducted by Hazel Martin; Junior church meet from 10.15am; at 3pm Emmanuel Church is hosting the Tendring Gathering. There will be two speakers, Gill Bavister and Rev Heather Kent speaking about outreach in the community. Anyone is welcome. We will have tea followed by a short service at 5.30pm. Do join us. On Tuesday at 7.30pm there will be the Lenten service. There will also be the regular drop-in from 10am. Sticky fingers for mums and tots meet on Wednesday for lunch activities and fun. Boys Brigade meet Friday from 6.30pm.

WEELEY

St Andrew's Church: On Sunday the family service will be at 9.30am.

Methodist Church: On Sunday Pastor David Bavister will take the service at 9.30am. This service will include the sacrament of the lord's supper.
