Noto will be missed but King's still confident

Chelmsford City Manager Jeff King has remained resilient despite losing key midfielder Mario Noto to a broken ankle this week, vowing to seek revenge for the "terrible" reverse fixture at Horsham by beating them in the return game at Melbourne this Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

King, who saw his star man break down in training last Saturday with a fracture that has ruled him out for the rest of the season, expects his players to continue in the frame of mind that has put them within touching distance of top spot in the Ryman League Premier Division in recent weeks.

"Mario's injury will be a big loss but we have to continue playing our game. We were terrible in the other game against Horsham in September so this time around we aim to put that right," King commented.

"Hopefully we will give them a few problems and get a positive result. I've had positive chats with a couple of players this week as we are now short on numbers although the players we already have are top quality."

Horsham visit the County Town this weekend in seventh position in the table, hunting for at least a play-off place, though they have Jacob Mingle and Kevin Hemsley suspended while City, minus Noto, have a full squad to select from.

It's Kids for a Quid' again at Melbourne for this clash, with accompanied under 16s up to a maximum of four being able to watch the game for just a pound. This is expected to help the club to another four-figure crowd as they bid for top spot come Saturday evening.
