Police vs Youths football clash

A FOOTBALL match will let young people take on the police.

Youngsters on Canvey will have the chance to play against the Canvey neighbourhood policing team on Sunday.

The game is at Smallgains Recreation Ground, in Smallgains Avenue, starting at 2pm. Two halves of 25 minutes will be played.

Spectators are encouraged to cheer on their team.

The police are also set to take on Canvey councillors in another match on a date yet to be arranged.
