Man robbed by teenagers

A MAN was punched and robbed as he walked through Central Park in Chelmsford.

The victim was in the park at around 11.40pm on Sunday, when two youths approached him and asked for a cigarette.

When he refused, he was grabbed by the coat, punched in the head and forced to hand over his LG mobile phone worth £200.

One suspect was white, 5ft 8ins tall, aged 16 to 17, slim, wearing a dark, hooded top and blue jogging bottoms.

The other was white, 5ft 8ins tall, also aged 16 to 17, wearing a white, hooded top, dark jogging bottoms and white trainers.
