Clacton: Anti-crime poems published

A BOOK of poems and drawings by nursery and primary school pupils has been put together following a crime-fighting initiative.

More than 550 entrants from 13 schools were submitted into the pictures and poems competition, which was held by Clacton Crime Prevention Panel.

The contest was open to all children up to the age of 11 and the best 50 entries have been compiled into a book.

The winners will be told who they are at a presentation event on April 19.
