Cops in drugs raids

EIGHT people are due to appear in court following police drugs operation.

It followed joint raids by Essex Police and Metropolitan Police in Basildon, Corringham and Danbury on Thursday.

Police said seven people are appearing before West London magistrates charged with drugs offences.

Three people were also arrested during the operation at a fast food restaurant near Basildon in connection with drugs offences.
