Football: McDonald the marvel

Witham Town manager Ken O'Donnell believes Cody McDonald can take the Ryman League division one north by storm.

And he thinks the youngster is set to get better and better.

O'Donnell said: "I think the impact we'll see from Cody will be significant."

It has been almost a year since McDonald broke his leg.

But he has returned for the new season looking sharp and his form has been improving with every game.

O'Donnell is delighted with how the highly-rated striker has started the new campaign.

"I've been very pleased with Cody so far," added O'Donnell.

"He's 99 per cent there now and I think he'll soon be banging in goals on a regular basis."
